How To Schedule a Consultation?

Thank you for considering a consultation with me. I provide practical guidance on how to reverse lifestyle-related disorders and conditions described on the previous page.

My counseling is focused on accomplishing the following goals:

Throughout our work together, I may refer you to my published materials on this website for additional information to help you better understand and apply my suggestions.

Please keep in mind that nutritional and lifestyle modifications are not instant fixes. They require consistent effort and adherence to achieve meaningful, long-term results.

While significant improvements may occur quickly, going back to previous dietary and lifestyle habits may cause previous symptoms or conditions to return.

Your age, gender, occupation, environment, medications, personality type, level of stress at home and work, preexisting food allergies, autoimmune reactions, and similar other factors impact the rate and extent of recovery.

'Miracle' happens, but like with everything else in life, they take time, effort, change, and sacrifice.

What I Don't Do?

I do not diagnose clinical disorders, provide therapies, prescribe and deprescribe drugs, or claim to cure diseases because I am not a medical doctor. My guidance is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for acute or chronic disorders that require immediate or ongoing medical attention.

If you are experiencing pain, bleeding, high fever, nausea, vomiting, sudden diarrhea, signs of dehydration, unexplained weight loss, fainting, irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, or any other clinical symptoms, please contact your doctor or call 911 for immediate assistance.

Sorry, I can't assist caregivers on behalf of people in their care and parents of young children because the type of counseling I provide doesn't work by 'proxy' or I don't have related expirience.

Consultation Fee

The first consultation is scheduled for one hour over Zoom or phone. The fee is $195.00. It includes an additional 30-minute follow-up by phone at the time of your choosing.

If your situation is relatively simple, we may be able to resolve it during the first consultation and an included follow-up.

Additional Follow-ups

If more follow-ups may be required, additional 30-minute consultations by phone are available at $95.00.

I do not provide follow-up consults by email or Zoom. Why?

How to Cancel or Reschedule Your Appointment

If you need to cancel or reschedule, just follow the link in your appointment confirmation email. You’ll find buttons labeled “Reschedule” and “Cancel.” Click the one you need and follow the prompts. If you can’t find your confirmation email, check your spam folder or search for “Calendly” in your inbox.

Changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund or to rebook. My time is just as valuable as yours. If you’re late or miss a scheduled appointment without notice, I won’t be able to provide further counseling.

Extended Support

If you require ongoing counseling to optimize your performance and endurance, I offer personalized support plans designed for professional athletes, performers, senior executives, and others in high-demand roles.

Support plans are customized to fit your specific goals, needs, and pace. They are not intended for managing chronic medical conditions. Details and pricing are discussed after the initial consultation.

Longevity Counseling

I offer extended longevity-focused counseling based on the following core longevity principles:

My 'organic' approach is the complete opposite of 'interventional' longevity based on restrictive diets, regular invasive testing, lifestyle drugs, plastic surgeries, interventional therapies, aggressive exercise, bio-hacking, and similar other techniques.

If you prefer my approach over interventional treatments, details and pricing are discussed after the initial consultation.

When My Counseling Isn’t the Right One for You

If I determine during the first consultation that your conditions are outside my area of expertise or that my approach would not benefit your specific needs, I will offer to end the session early and issue a full refund. This approach ensures that you only proceed with consultations that are appropriate for you and aligned with my expertise.

Refund Policy

While I provide guidance based on research and experience, your results depend entirely on your commitment to making and maintaining the recommended changes. I cannot guarantee specific outcomes because I have no control over your actions, choices, or biological responses. For those reasons, all consultation fees are non-refundable once the session has taken place and is completed without your objections.

Q. What do you need to know about my situation?

The more, the better. Sometimes, a small clue is more telling than the obvious "big" issues you can easily Google or ChatGPT on your own.

I also urge you to be transparent with me during the consultation because embellishing facts may hinder your recovery. I once worked with a highly successful executive in her mid-fifties who sought my help for what she claimed was her son's medical condition.

As I found out later, it was her own. Naturally, my recommendations didn’t help  — a twenty-something man’s physiology is vastly different from hers. Had she been upfront, I may have been able to help her. Her condition ultimately killed her career because it wasn't 'compatible' with her line of work.

Q. Can I send you my tests?

If your test results indicate anomalies that have already been discussed with your doctor(s), feel free to share information about them because it may provide helpful insights.

Q. What do you know that ChatGPT doesn’t?

I asked ChatGPT to reply to this question:

Reply from ChatGPT

Incidentally, the same logic applies to experts in all fields, not just medicine. Having the Merck Manual or ChatGPT at your fingertips is great, but it doesn't make one an expert.

Q. Can I tell my doctor about consulting with you?

Absolutely, you can and you should. Over the years, I have had doctors and nurses refer their patients and family members to my site, books, and me for guidance on lifestyle and nutrition — a tacit acknowledgment that these factors play a critical role in long-term health yet are often overlooked in conventional medical practice.

Q. Can you talk to my doctor?

Yes, I can. My counseling focuses on areas that medical doctors aren’t typically trained in, and my work is complementary to theirs — not exclusionary or antagonistic.

Q. Do you consult medical professionals?

Yes, I do. Functional conditions that I work with are barely covered in medical textbooks and only superficially taught in medical schools. My work is well documented on this site and in my books, and it isn't a voodoo. If you are a doctor or a nurse and need assistance to resolve an issue that doesn't respond to conventional treatments, you are as welcome to take advantage of my expertise as any other client.

Q. May I schedule a consultation regarding conditions that aren't on your list?

If these conditions dont require medical intervention, yes, you may. If they require one, I will advise you to seek appropriate medical care. As I noted earlier, I don't consult parents of young children and careviers for people in their care.

Q. Why can't you provide follow-up consultations by email or over Zoom?

I can't handle follow-ups over email because effective counseling requires two-way dialogue. When you ask a question, I usually need to ask several follow-up questions to better understand your concerns and make sure you, too, have the opportunity to clarify or ask additional questions. That kind of dynamic exchange isn’t possible over email.

As for Zoom, I conduct video consults from a teleconferencing space to ensure privacy and focus. Because these sessions require proper setup, scheduling, and preparation, I reserve them for specific days and time blocks. Brief follow-up calls throughout the week don’t align with that schedule.

Q. Can you refer me to a specialist whose work is similar to yours?

At this time, there are no practitioners in the United States that I know who approach functional digestive and metabolic disorders the way I do. My work is many years ahead of the curve, and while many principles I’ve championed are gradually being recognized and adopted, they are still far from mainstream practice.

Q. Why does your consultation cost $195 if it is just 'talking?'

You’re not paying for my "talking," but for decades of experience, research, and insight that allow me to identify and reverse partially or completely some of the functional conditions that may have already cost you years of frustration, tens of thousands in medical bills, and may lead to untold losses in your career, marriage, well-being, and longevity.

My website and books provide a wealth of free information that you can read and apply to your situation at no cost. Paid consultations are for people who need personalized guidance based on their unique challenges rather than spending months or years trying to piece everything together on their own.

Q. Do you offer group counseling?

Yes, I provide group counseling in the following four formats:

Q. Do you have independent proof of your counseling effectiveness?

I don't ask clients to publicly review or share details of their counseling experience. Protecting confidentiality is a core principle of my work with clients. However, I can share with you statistically representaive indirect reviews of my work from two independent sources:

Amazon reviews of Fiber Menace
Since its publishing in 2005, Fiber Menace has remained highly controversial and one-of-a-kind books on this subject. Many reviewers describe their positive before-and-after experiences with my indirect recommendations in glowing terms. Read Amazon's reviews of Fiber Menace.

Customer Satisfaction Survey of Colorectal Recovery Program
An independent clinical investigator surveyed clients who purchased this program on this site from June 1, 2014 to June 1, 2015. The Survey provides indirect insight into the veracity and impact of my recommendations because they are based on the same principles. Tap here to read the Customer Satisfaction Survey.
